Passionate entrepreneur and disruptor, two-time unicorn creator (Duocorn). I co-founded Waze, the world’s largest community-based driving traffic and navigation app, which Google acquired for $1.1 billion in 2013. I was also an investor and board member in Moovit, the Waze of public transportation, which Intel acquired for $1 billion in 2020. I follow my dream to create a lot of value for a lot of people, through a series of startups, which disrupt inefficient markets and services. My startups primarily focus on solving “big problems”, and saving consumers money and time while empowering them. I am also a mentor and a teacher, and as of January 2023, an author, with the publication of my first book "Fall in Love with the Problem, NOT the Solution- A Handbook for Entrepreneurs”.

Luis holds an European MBA (ESCP Europe: Paris-Oxford-Berlin) and Executive Educations at Harvard Business School (Boston) and Columbia Business School (New York). He graduated from an Executive MBA at IMD (Lausanne) in April 2024. He speaks 4 languages fluently and has lived in 11 different countries in the past 30 years. His passion is to forge strategic partnerships and achieve triple digit growth.
